So I have potty trained tons of Great Danes but never a Pug, as Emmett is my first. He is such a smart boy, knows he has to go on the puppy pad, but any tips would be greatly appreciated as to getting him fully trained thanks & have a pug filled day!!
~A house is not a home without a Pug
Always praise and treat lavishly for going in the correct place.
Remember that pugs often don't tell you in any obvious meaningful way that they need to go, so getting them on a schedule is a good priority.
Good luck!

We found walking twice a day and going out several times in the yard between walks really helped cement the routine. Praise and treats every time they do what you want. Be consistent. Be patient with accidents, just clean up and ignore.

I found that going out on a leash, even in the yard, curbed the enthusiasm to run around and play--pee first, then off the leash to play. Also, keeping the dog on a very regular schedule of feeding makes it oh so much easier to predict when they need to go potty.
