I don't know, but it might be your hormones that are upsetting them. You're due very soon and your hormones will be all over the place, maybe you smell different and it's confusing them. just a thought, I don't know if it would definately be the case.

Oh Rebecca, I bet you said a lot more than OUCH!! From what I've seen of your two boys, I bet they thought you and Garry were playing and just got a little over-excited. As for EZDave's thoughts on stuffed toys, well.........I had to laugh (sorry).
    Hope you're feeling OK now.

PS You might want to re-think the whole breast-feeding thing if the baby is born with any teeth

I think he just got over-excited with the running and loud voices and thought it was a game. I had a Kerry Blue who would get so excited whenever she got into a car (we lived in the city and didn't have a car, so it usually meant that she was going to visit my parents, whom she loved) that she'd nip. She got my dad's elbow a few times; she wasn't aggressive and she knew him, she just got so excited that she'd lose her bite control.

I sympathize with your pain (ouch!), but I think this was an isolated incident. Bites can get infected though - did you wash the bite thoroughly? Watch for swelling or red streaks, just in case.

First, I'm sorry you got bit hard enough for it to hurt.
Second, is it possible that since you were on the floor,on your knees, that they thought that you were playing with them and just bit too hard.
or:: could something have moved in a manner in which they might have mistaken it for a stuffed animal?

The wife and I get bit all the time but, it's mostly our own fault for doing something that the pugs mistake for something else.

OMG, I'm sorry that you were hurt...esp. since you're pregnant!!
But Dave's post made me laugh out loud!!!
