Default One of the boys just bit me badly..

Bit of a long story but I'm really upset...would you believe I was putting something in Arthur's Christmas stocking which is pinned up on the wall and the drawing pin fell off so I me and hubby were racing round trying to find it before the boys got to it or we stood on it (we eventually found it in a plant pot) while I was on my knees looking one of them ( I didn't see which because they were both clamouring around me) got up and bit me really hard on the...erm..boob. I just burst in to tears immediately because the shock and pain were horrendous. He bit thru a thick flleece, t-shirt and bra right through and punctured the skin so it was bleeding. I'm pregnant so ladies you can imagine just how much this hurt. So there was I wailing with pain, Garry still looking for the freaking drawing pin etc. We put them in the crate to calm down but I'm really upset with them. I find it worrying that they would do it for no reasonit really shook me up. Any ideas?

OMG! I am so sorry this happened. I bet that did hurt very badly. Do you think it could have been that one of the pugs thought you were panicking? I really don't know why that would happen. I am so sorry this happened. Are you going to be ok?

Ok, I'm gonna try not to say anything to get me into trouble.
First, I'm sorry you got bit hard enough for it to hurt.
Second, is it possible that since you were on the floor,on your knees, that they thought that you were playing with them and just bit too hard.
or:: could something have moved in a manner in which they might have mistaken it for a stuffed animal?

The wife and I get bit all the time but, it's mostly our own fault for doing something that the pugs mistake for something else.

I'm sorry this happened to you. From what I've seen you write of the boys , that type of behavior isn't normal for them. I wonder the same as previous posts , could it be possible that in your haste to find the pin, they took it a fright and bit to hard out of not knowing what was going on or thinking that in your position you were playing?
I really don't know what would cause this so I don't have any advice or thoughts other than what others have said.
I know being pregnant , that was very painful and I hope you are OK. (??)

Goodness! I'm sorry you got bit, and am sure you are dumbfounded and shook-up!! no explanations here, but since this is so out of character, maybe it was a mistake like Dave suggested.....

I'm sure that they did think I was up for a bit of rough and tumble--me being on their level etc. They're not going to know I was looking for a pin! I just wanted to vent because it hurt so much....ouch! I'm ok now, I think they knew I was upset because they were all piling on for cuddles later on. Thanks guys - and EZ Dave - I probably do look a lot like a stuffy - a huge rotund one that is!!

    I'm glad you're ok.
No bite is ever a good bite , but some areas hurt more than anyone wants to experience.

Sorry you got bit! Ouch that would have hurt!
I think it was probably the postion you were in. I know that sometimes if I get down like that, it is for some tumble time, and my sweet, princess-like Roxie gets very fiesty and will nip me on my nose!

Ow!! I've never been pregnant but I can imagine how tender your boobs are! You know he didn't mean it, and as you said, it was the shock and the pain.
