WOOHOO -- D slept in the crate last night!

Ok, we've had Diesel for 1 1/2 years now and he's pretty much slept in bed with us since about two weeks after he came home. Well, to say the least, he's a rather spoiled boy and has NEVER slept through the night. Yep, you heard it right -- NEVER!! For the past 1 1/2 years, I've gotten up with him at least one, if not two, times every single night!

Well, after not having slept through the night for the past 1 1/2 years, I finally said, enough's enough! We went out yesterday and bought a large 42" wire crate! Well, Kayla's in heaven. It's like a fricking hotel compared to her previous crate. So she's loving it!

D, not so sure about it yesterday. We left it in the living room for him to get used to it. He did ok. Then put him in there last night at bedtime. He did rather well, actually. Whimpered a little bit for about a half hour! Not bad, considering he's our drama queen. I expected a full out temper tantrum from him. But didn't happen!

They did just fine. Got up at 6:30 and needless to say, he had to poop immediately, but I'm just so happy he managed to sleep through the night!!

good for you..... both of ours love there crate....and go from 11:00pm to 6pm wihtout a wimper!
