Talking My neigbors officially know I'm nuts now....

Ok, so training a pug to pee outside rather than inside is no small feat. It's taking patience and due diligence. Today I took Murphy and Bonnie out for an afternoon walk. I figured Bonnie was just coming along for the walk since she never does her business outside. "Murphy's" Law of course prevailed.

Murphy peed in the leaves and immediately Bonnie did. HER FIRST TIME PEEING OUTSIDE!! I had no treats! But I did my best potty party dance, which happened to be outside my neighbor's condo.

Picture me, doing the dance, something like this:

"YEAH! GOOD GIRL!" (I'm dancing around" "GOOD GIRL! THAT'S RIGHT, WE POTTY OUTSIDE. GOOD GIRL!!!!"

Yup, I'm sure it was a lovely thing to witness. But I don't care - she pottied outside!!!!!

I still praise Tilly when she goes outside. (she always does) Neighbors must think I am a nut case too.

I think I should move then. LOL I figured the dance and praising was half a consolation for me being an bonehead and forgetting her treats!! Bonnie gave me an 8 out of ten. She said my kicks could have been higher.

I guess you won't be forgetting her treats inside anytime soon...

Yay for Bonnie! We know the potty dance pretty well here! Luckily, some of our neighbors are pretty out there themselves, so they can't really judge.

My potty dance certainly didn't match her pugtona after her medicated bath tonight. She was a little angel, sitting in the towel in my arms but as soon as I put her down, he was off! LOL Too funny!!

Hooray for Bonnie!! I always praise my girls for pottying outside, too, and of course they're across the lawn so I'm yelling in my high-pitched happy voice, "Good Girl Potty Outside!!"

If doing the pee pee dance makes you crazy then we're all crazy. Oh wait....we are all crazy.
