I just did this (just NOW) with Chyna. She had one of Paul's shoes.

Now, how do you keep the smartie pugs from grabbing something now -- just to trade for a treat? They're so darn SMART!

Wish I had some suggestions... Bruce loves the contents of my purse - If I leave it for a moment where he can reach it he has the ability to open it (how I have no idea) and the first thing to go is my wallet, then the hairbrush, cell phone and so on.... he gathers the items on the bed and just sits on them and waits for me to catch him.

I may be oversimplifying it, but don't leave the kleenex where he can get it.....
I know it's too much of a temptation for Louie, so i don't even have the toiletpaper on the roll.....it sits on the sink out of his reach.

You know, I used to worry greatly about what others thought of me. Now that I have a pug I simply cannot afford to worry about that any more. I do try to keep the craziest behaviour hidden behind closed doors, though. Don't want the men in white coats coming after me...

I just walk away from rocko and he will follow me like where are you going and totally forget about the thing in his mouth. He also knows "drop it" but pugs are stubborn so when he knows I really want something he won't give it to me. So I just trick him by walking away or giving a treat.

    Hahaha! Too funny!

I am a great advocate of the "running away" technique. I have been spotted on the beach more than one, running like a loony and windmilling my arms while shouting "Weeeeeeeee pip pip pip" Works every time - and that's just when Onion loses us with her poor sight! Lol!

I figure you can have pugs OR sanity. NOT both.

Samson, Treacle, Maisie and the beautiful Onion at the Bridge. In our hearts forever.

Anna has decided that she no longer needs to go outside. Its getting colder so I don't blame her, but she's not box trained, therefore she needs to go out!
This morning for the third one in a row she just looked at me! No running away just staring at me like, "Ha! You go out there!" So I called, shook the treats, commanded, she stood still. I walked like three steps away from her, calling. She came right to me! It works, it works, thank you!!!
