I am in love with senior pugs and pug wannabes like Farrah Fawcett who lies in the pug bed with my white faced Percy squished together. There is a special place in my heart, and I adore senior pug white faces, slow duckling padding behind me as I go from room to room, and snoring as they perform their favorite activity of sleeping. I love exercising them and getting them out for a bit. I love putting them up on the bed and am sad as I remember when they could jump themselves. Watching the dignity of a senior pug is a sight I wouldn't miss, and I am so honored to be among such wonderful animals who have aged with such grace. I love my sweet pugs/pug wannabe.

Seniors are just the best. Can we have pics, please?
I too am head over heels for seniors.
Take care,

I usually have mine from the day they're born.....I LOVE to watch them grow up....LOVE to see their faces turn white! It does hurt to watch them slow down and become more and more fragile! I wouldn't have it any other way!
I will put a few pics if I can figure out how to post pics. I figured out how to do one the other day, but I have already forgotten. I'll have to get my husband's help again this time. I'll post them here tonight. Thanks for asking to see them! Have a great night!
Laura
I agree 100 percent!!... Can't wait to see the pics!

What a beautiful post! Max is my first pug and I love him so much! It is really hard seeing him slow down. I will be checking out 'The Senior Pug' posts more often. He's 9 1/2 and my only roommate, so I get really sad sometimes. He's sitting right here, so I think I will get off and snuggle with him!!
Thanks again,
Diane

This is something I've been thinking about a LOT recently! I have one Pug, age 9, and I feel my heart get softer as he gets older. I can't believe he's a senior. It seems like I just got him, and already I'm worried about how much longer I will get to keep him. He's slowing down, needs help getting up on the couch, walks with a little hitch in his "getalong". I love seniors!

Ray is 9 or ten years old. I sometimes have trouble thinking of him as a senior. Seniors are the greatest though. It breaks my heart to see them listed in the rescues, particularly when people just give them up because they're old. Can these people just forget and turn off the love they've shared? Sorry about the ramble.
