    Question sspca dog show

Today is the annual SSPCA dog show here on the island. It's a charity event and i'm taking Stanley along for some socialising. My sister is desperate for me to enter him in the puppy class but i'm not sure as he's likely to poo in middle of show ring, still bites my jeans legs when he gets excited & is losing his baby teeth!! but she assures me it's just fun. not sure so was wondering what u guys think?

I forget how old he is, but unless he's very young, I'd say go for it. All the other owners are worrying about the same things you are. Just have fun.

Go for it! It's only a bit of fun.

Snifter had a full on tantrum, on his back and screaming, in our first show!

Thanks for the replies guys. We had a ball It is a charity event organised by the SSPCA here on the island and I entered Stanley in Puppy class and Happiest Dog Class (one of the fun classes). He got Highly Commended in the Puppy CLass (despite taking a real dislike to the collie dog next to him) and 2nd in the Happiest Dog Class. It was all good fun and it was a great socialising experience for him.

It's just a shame that it was so poorly organised and advertised as there wasn't many there and it could be such a great fundraiser. I was going to offer my services for next years event but I have a feeling I will be living on the mainland by then as we are looking to move so not much point really

All in all good fun and both Stanley and I made some new friends. He was much admired due to being only 1 of 2 pugs living on the island.
