This weekend

I left Kelev and Swin with the dog sittter and took off for the show 3 hrs from here..with just Ben and me! At first, Ben didn't know what to do with himself in the motel! There were no other dogs there to interact with! He did well!!! Cuddled......and was very calm for him!

I was upset when I first got to the show as I saw that Dr. Chris Dresser...well reknown vet...especially with pugs.....Big in PDCA......bred and shown pugs for years as did her mom.....and a really really nice person was there!!! Usually, when I see her, she wins! I usually don't mind losing to a nice person and or dog...but I'd gone there by myself to add to Ben's points to keep him in the top 25 so we can get invited to the Top Dog Dinner at the Nationals in CA next year. We won BOTH days!!!!!!!!! Did what I needed to do to keep him up there.....The groups were late both days....The first day, Ben and I went back to the motel and napped. The second day, we packed up and came home! I didn't want to be driving in the rain and dark!

My smile for this AM was watching Kelev hunt up the bully stick that he'd been chewing on earlier!!!!!!! It's good to be home.

Leaving again...with Ronda...next Fri. Going to the Lansing shows! Will be picking Stormy up on the way home! I'm excited about that and a bit nervous with Swin here!

Ben's only funny time now is with the computer.....Stormy has taken over the block...etc. When I'm at the computer cannot video him! Maybe this weekend with Ronda there I will be able to!
