Congrats! I am glad that someone is winning somehwere! I have picked nothing up in 6 shows and this is getting VERY frusterating!, If only I could tell the judge "can you hear me out on this one....I need ONE win to finish..don't you want to be that judge that gives me that win?" I am sure that would go over well! Maybe next time!
Do you have any more shows coming up?

I sure do know how you feel!!!
Flame needed a last major. Harry Smith screwed up on a count..thinking there was a major in dogs and bitches. Was embarassed when I thanked him for the win...and he said it was a major too..and I had to tell him it was broken in bitches. He got red in the face, apologized....and told me that with her looks....I'd pick that up shortly! LOL.....took an entire year! If there was a solid major in bitches..it either broke or she went reserve. If it was in dogs..the judges that year were not splitting! She finished with 26 points!
I still have people asking about her and telling me how pretty she is!
UGH!! Hang in there!!
I won't travel with a special to shows.......I cannot afford to really campaign a dog. ...I show for fun. IF she's not in heat or bred by the middle of March...I'm toying with putting her into the benched show we have here. I'm hoping that she has a nice litter of pups and tucks up well as I'd like to put her into the Nationals. Am thinking of putting her mom in as a veteran....we'll see.
Congrats Diane!I don't know much about pedigrees or Sheffield pugs, but if the papers that came with Bud are correct, he has a lot of Sheffield a couple of generations back.

Sarina, I swear, that last win is always the hardest. But, it makes it all the more special when it finally comes!

Almost any book you pick up on pugs talks about Sheffield Pugs! Very nice dogs!!! I have not seen too many lately in person...but years ago....They were really something!

True, Margery did not breed tommy. He was a pay back for stud service. The bitch was sent over to be bred with Margery's Ch Sheffield's Stuffed shirt "neddy" and she was sent back Tommy and Meg (tommy's sister).Originally Posted by shaynapug
I have on loan at my house a son of Little red wagon. This is the boy that she just made from the frozen stuff. He Is a nice boy a little over a year old.
Look out when he matures.
