We showed this weekend in Fresno, Ca.
It was VERY cold and an all outdoor show, this was good that it was outdoors as Co-Pilot was alot more comfortable on the lawn and outside. of course she didn't do as well on the table becasue she wasn't scared still like the indoor show last weekend. She was the only 6-9 bitch and both judges were sweet to her and me, the judge today really liked her, said she will do well when she "matures". I learned a few new things about handling and improved a bit too. We came home with two blue ribbons and a bit more practice under our belts.
Today when she did her up and back for the judge, when we got back the judge was doing everything she could not to laugh too hard, and Co-pilot had hopped out nearly the entire up and back. The judge had a good laugh and said "she must be confused and thought it was Easter, she said she was hopping like a bunny", and it is true, she was. She did better on her go around.
I have found a handling class through our local Kennel club, and I HOPE it is a good one, I start that Tuesday night.
I have a few pics from yesterday...not great ones, but I'll share

Thanks Rona! Once in there she really didn't want to get out! It was COLD, I don't know if Co-Pilot owuld be cut out for snow, she was shivering even with her jacket on.Originally Posted by Fourteen Legs
And Diane, I looks at your Antics pages, very cute and funny, a good place to go when you aren't having a bad day and realize no to take things too serious, we are honored to be on there.

Sara:
You are doing a GREAT job! Stay in the ring, as you know each time you show you learn more and more! Showing with a puppy is the best training money can buy! Keep up the good work! When is your next show?
