For those of you going to the specialty, are you already reserving rooms, etc.? I am trying to make up my mind whether we should go......And, I don't want to miss out on staying at the site of the show/trial. Thanks for your help.
Are you talking about the Nationals??
If so, I've had my reservations for a few months! I figure if something comes up.....I can cancel..bt I ahve the room!
I am staying at the Baymont Inn....which is about 30 cheaper/night...which adds up when you're gonna be there about a week! Probably will be a bit quieter too!
I have reservations at Nationals and have had mine for two months now! You may want to make yours really soon!

Can anyone tell me the dates and location of the National Specialty this year in Wisconsin? We are planning to go to the Giant Schnauzer Specialty in St. Louis in September and watch two of my Giants being shown. One is a Ch. bitch and will be shown in a class with several Ch. offspring, including her BiS son. I am excited, love specialties. I went to the Pug specialty in Delavan, Wi. in 1999 and then the one in Indiana a couple of years later. It was so much fun being at the show hotel because I was constantly surrounded by hundreds of PUGS. It was like being in Paradise.

I am still trying to make up my mind about going.....Could someone please tell me what it's like? It is such a long drive by myself with (hopefully) four pugs......I truly vacillate(sp) between going and not going and know I need to make a decision soon in order to get a hotel room.....HELP!!!
Jamie you are welcome to stay with me....I will be flying into Chicago with Noah on the 13th and leaving the 17th. I have a friend in St. Paul that will be there the 14th-16th...and I think she is staying with her "club" friends. I have never been to Nationals and I am going so that I can "Husband" hunt...for future breedingsOriginally Posted by Jamie

Sounds like we need to start planning an IL/WI Pug Village meet-up for October!I would love to go to the Nationals this year since it's so close. It's only about a 2 & 1/2 hour drive for me to Oconomowoc.
