I am so excited to see a picture of Princeton's sister. His new family did some research and talked to his breeder. This is a link to a picture of his littermate, Winnie, http://www.arvaypugs.com/winnie.html
It is fun to know more about his heritage. I think Princeton has it on the looks department, over his sister.
What do you think?
Sorry, Shutterfly wasn't working properly, for the pics to show up.

Winnie is a beautiful girl! Princeton is handsome with all of his wrinkles - he reminds me a lot of Karen's Smokey.

I can't believe he is a foster, such a forehead of wrinkles...cute boy! Does Arvay Pugs know who they adopted him out to? How sad!

What a pretty boy. I am surprised that he was not given back to the breeder, since they know who it is. I also know that each case is diffrent! What a SWEET boy!

This was also the pug given up to rescue because he wouldn't play fetch!! Pug Rescue Network did the original surrender so I assume they checked with the breeder.
Awwww, how sad! Why would anyone choose a Pug if they wanted a dog that MUST play fetch????Originally Posted by Blanche
I can't imagine the breeder not taking him back, I reserve judgement, like Sarina said every situation is different, but my mind does not compute this dog having to go to a rescue (although I AM thankful he is in such great hands!)

I believe Kelle (Arvay Pugs) is a member here, just joined recently, like within the last month or so. She did belong to the old Pugzoners, too.
Princeton sure is a handsome boy!![]()

I don't care if his sister is show I still think he is the most adorable pug in the whole world! I want him! Oh well at least he went to a great family.

I somehow knew you would side with Princeton and his heart!!Originally Posted by bugs
The breeder did not know. The new owners found the breeder and the breeder called them right away. The breeder was angry about the owner giving Princeton up to rescue. They had warned the family that pugs don't play fetch, too!!
It sounds like the new family will be staying in touch with the breeder and all is well. It is great that his new family researched this and got connected with the breeder. Sounds like Princeton came from a very good place.
