Next time you are under Charlotte talk to her. She has been in pugs a long time and is very well respected. She is a breeders judge, so I am assuming that WD and WB went to the Bred By classes. Am I wrong? Anyway, Charlotte has been a mentor to MANY newcomers over the years. She will talk to you forever, and knows the breed. BTW, who was the little black bitch?

Well, so much for beating the kid, she got first today. Funny after today she was talking up a storm with me. Yesterday she said congratulations but I think she was a little sore she didn't win.

I know my bitch was more correct, many people told me this after, but I don't think I impressed Mrs. Patterson with my handling skills ( I suppose if I was 9 she would be slightly more forgiving). Also Co-Pilot was pretty rambunctious today. We learned a few more things in the ring today as well.

There was a 10 month old black girl today, it was her first show and she took best of breed. It was a great day for the little girl and she was a beauty!

I will find out for you Sarina...I want to say she was a Caravalle? Of course I didn't buy the catalog this time, we were running a bit late the first day. Anyway...I didn't want to ask the judge why he/she picked someone but more what they thought about what I was bringing in the ring, a handling tip or even jus5t general conversation about the breed in general.
