I'm about to purchase a Show leash for Pudding and I'm wondering what colour shows off a fawn to the best advantage.
I'm thinking simple black with a chrome chain, although I've seen some fabulous, hand made, beaded ones that I could order online from the U.S.
May be if we're lucky she may earn one of those, one day!
So, I'm ordering 12" (30cm) and I'm thinking 5mm wide, does that sound right?
I have a 14" (33cm) but it's too big, she's only 7 months.
What range of sizes do you have for your pups and adult dogs and does 5mm sound the right strength?

I don't know how to describe what I use.....
It depends on the dog.
I have used one like this:
43" Light Weight Toy Breed Slip Show Lead
I have used a wider one.....a rosco..... I have always used a black lead.
I have used a martingale also!
My friend also made me a purple one with some beads.
Sorry I cannot be more help!
We use plain black rolled bridle leather with chrome chain for the half check. I think it is probably about 5mm wide.

I always used this kind, in black.
