Daughter's visiting grandparents and significant other is working out of town. I opened some windows to let fresh air circulate. Watched some tv with Lola and then we got a phone call!

A Pug named Lala needed a babysitter while his owner is visiting India over Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. Lala and his owner are coming over for a trial visit to see if Lala and Lola get along.

Edit: Lola and Lala are great together! Lala is a whooping 20 lbs compared to Lola's 16lbs. Lala will be staying with us for four weeks starting this coming up Thursday! Yay! Maybe Lala will trim down by having to put up with Lola's boundless energy?

I am so going to take pics!!

What a deliciously selfish idea! I LOVE it! And how fun to puggy sit and they get along! I'm jealous of you both!

We had a pug day here too. The board president of our rescue group came over and spent almost the entire day with my two hospice pugs. They gave her lots of kisses, showed her all of their favorite toys, sat for lots of pictures, and begged her for the new peanut butter treats. They also showed her how much they love their dinner, until Bubba stepped it the water bowl and spilled it all over the kitchen floor. Bubba showed her how he shares his favorite toys with his new hospice sister. It almost brought tears to her eyes when she saw how much they have transformed. That is a PUGGY day.

my day started at 6am yesterday
and ended at 9pm with the pugs
they are fine if I am on the computer..they just sit at my feet
even with all the posting that still left many hours of one to one time yesterday for pug day.

I also think that any day that a PUG is out of rescue, like my rescue pug here Max..that has got to be a puggy day each and every day for them. better then beaten and in a kennel all day such as was max case.
