Default rockys leg

some or all of you know rocky had a knee op back in august but some of his hair still hasnt grown back on his leg...the vet said no reason why it shouldnt off grown back but it prob be back soon..
the problem is he likes going and rolling in the snow like in the pictures yesterday...
last night he was suffering...he wouldnt jump on sofa and was feeling really down in the dumps..
no limping etc tho..
today he seems a bit better and is jumping again but not as quick or high as before...
nothing seems the matter with his leg but i think where he has got muscle wastage and hair loss he has got cold in it and its gone a bit achey like our muscles do in the winter months..

question is how can i keep him warm...i waiting on his new coat to arrive in post but that wont cover his leg!!!
his old coat is to small so had to get a new one which prob will be here after our snow has gone knowing the weather in uk lol...
any ideas???

I put on human sweaters on the bullies here..
here is a pic

and

I KNOW this is a pug board..lol. but still you get the idea. My pugs have much thicker fur on the legs then the bullies do..so I use the sweaters on them outside here all the time.
I just went to a second hand store and picked these ones up..a few of the in fact so I can change them outside too.
also the pugs do not romp out in the snow like the bullies do either..they go way to deep for the pugs..

you just pull the seater down on them
I have used several sweaters on my other rescue pugs over the years too..

if it is the thigh and did not see it till I posted these pics..
you could get a baby tracksuit and use that..
and just cut a hole out for the tail of the pug..but hard to pee like that..

wander if a baby sleeper would work..
just thought of that here..
a baby snow suit.
they are all one piece and have hands and feet in them for babies..and then cut out the tail..

Or maybe use a baby sock, but cut toes out and pull it up the leg, like legwarmers.

Make legwarmers by cutting the sleeves from a baby's or toddler's (depends on size of Rocky's thigh) cardigan or sweater. If they have to stretch a little to get over the thigh, they will be snug and not fall off.
