I watch the pugs and doxies on Cl and just shake my head ... along with most of the other dogs, cats, pets, and horses.
The general population of people ... they just suck.

This is why I don't talk much, keep to myself and just try and love my animals to the best of my ability... And craigslist sucks most of the time!! I hope someone can get this little fellow and show him the life of luxury!!

As some of you pug owners know....pugs are sometimes difficult to train. It takes total commitment on the owners part and some people just don't commit. I have 2 pugs and both of them have taken very long to house train. I watch them like a hawk and always catch them in the act so they are just not really speedy when it comes to training. In the end.....it is so worth it and you end up with the best dog ever. I just think some people give up and that is why there are so many "orphaned" pugs out there. I just wish I could have all of them!

I agree pugs are hard to house train. I dont think Phoebe was fully trained til she was about 6 months (and I hear some people say I did a great job with doing it by that time) I still watch her like a hawk especially if its raining out. I never gave up on her I just always thought it was something I was doing wrong. I dont understand how some can get rid of their pugs, or any pets for that matter for reasons like a baby coming into the house (pugs love kids) or were moving and we cant take it (all places that allow pets will allow a pug you just gotta do some research) I try to stay off craigslist so I dont see all the pets that need new homes, as I know I cant help them at the moment. if I could Id have about 10 or more pugs right now.

Funny, my seven year old puppy mill foster has not had one accident in the house, someone (Viv) pooped on the floor during the middle of the night.

Has anyone gotten this fellow yet?

A 12lb pug is NO trouble......DH and I joke that most of our pugs are NOT housetrained...we just let them out every 2 hours.
