    Default Chat - problems

If I try to enter chat via the 'chat room' link at the top of the page - error's out, blue screen and never loads. If I go to the chat room by the link down in the forums it loads, dumps me into hollywood, and when I switch to the lounge it shows 50 people, and not a single chatter. They all seem to be ghost chatters.

Hmm - it seems as if the author of the chat software, tufat.com , is no longer providing updates for it, making it incompatible with some newer web browsers. We'll have to research a new replacement software package which is still being updated and replace it -

Oh Well - I suspect it's Flash that is the problem, I have IE9 in compatibility mode. Chat used to work in compatibility mode, It will not work in IE9 native mode.
There are a fair number of free/open source chat programs that don't need flash.
