Remember last year I asked if you would pay money to see her?

Well, we did hire her and she will be here next Friday to give a lecture! She is coming to the shelter for a tour and to pick out some dogs that she will work with at the lecture that evening.

We are having it a a really high-end venue (an exclusive yacht club) and we are charging $175 per ticket to meet with her and to hear the lecture. That also includes drinks and hors d'oeuvres. And we are selling out!

So even though I am not in the same job I had (which means I would have been dealing with her directly!) I still get to go! Yay!

That's SO COOL! Can I ask how much she charges? That sounds like it would be a great fundraiser for our organization, I know we could pack them in, even at $200 a pop.

I shudder to think what she would say about my unruly pack of excessive numberage though.

My kids still say I'm far more likely to get "Animal Hoarders" out here than "It's Me or the Dog". Sigh.......they're probably right.
