My Exciting Weekend!

So next week this is my weekend:

On Friday I am going to a luncheon to hear Kathryn Stockett, author of the book The Help. I can't wait!

Then that night I am going to see Victoria Stilwell (see separate thread).

The next night is the Pet Lovers Gala, and I get to go as a GUEST! Since I am no longer doing events here it is bittersweet, because I started the planning of this event last year. It will be at the Ritz-Carlton and for the first time we are allowing guests to bring their dogs (my idea), so you know Phoebe is going with me!

I am so excited! Plus I am sitting with a very handsome anchorman who I had asked to act as emcee. We are all at the chair's table, and I think it will be so much fun!

I am deliberating on Phoebe's outfit more than my own!

I just ordered a pearl Fabuleash for her and will attach it to a plain black harness. I don't know what else she will wear--am looking for a cute dressy outfit but nothing too over-the-top.

At the end of the evening she was picked to be a "thank you" dog, saying goodbye to the guests. For that she will wear a special bandana that says "Thank You" and a white feather boa!
