Ha! I wish it worked that way. I've got an old Star Trek novel that was quickly pulled and republished because it contained several instances of subtly gay innuendo between Kirk and Spock. Lol. Anyway, you may notice some other very minor errors such as missing quotation marks at the ends of a couple sentences, but I guess I can't catch everything. I've seen errors like that in professionally edited books, though, so I'm not too concerned. Thanks for checking it out!

You have to design your own cover, of course, using some sort of design software, and read up on how to properly format your text so that it will translate over to the e-format. For example, if you are using Word, don't use tab to indent, use the first line indent setting and set it for .02 or .03. Anything above that looks great on Word, but when you see it on an e-reader it looks live you've pressed the spacebar ten times at the beginning of each paragraph. Also, use SECTION BREAK, not PAGE BREAK(which is what they suggest. Disregard this and other "tips.") between chapters, otherwise they will all run together. It's not necessary, but you can file a copyright with the US copyright office and put the little copyright "c" on your title page so that if anyone decides to steal it and attempt to sell it as their own work, you have a leg to stand on legally. There's a fee of $35 to file a copyright.
Many thanks! I will pass this info on to my friend.

I made a brief "commercial" for my book this morning. It's simple, to-the-point(And a little bit tongue-in-cheek), and it took me about an hour and a half to create. Making the music was the most time-consuming part, but I make a lot of sythesized symphonic type stuff, so that was pretty easy.

You can read ebooks on your computer with Nook for PC Free NOOK app for PC, Download eReader app - Barnes*&*Noble or Kindle for PC. Amazon.com: Kindle for PC - Read Kindle eBooks on your PC I prefer the Kindle app, myself, but either one's good, and they're both free. I don't have an e-reader, either. My wife's got a Nook, and she loves it, but I've never used it. They are pretty cool, though.

I've also got two free short stories up that can be read online, no downloading required. Just scroll down to where it says "Read Online, HTML" and click "view."
This one has really taken off. Smashwords - Delicacies - A book by Patrick Walts People really seem to like it. It's kind of a goofy, lighthearted sci-fi/humor story that examines humans from an alien point of view.
