Default Can not stress HOW much Happiness comes to a PUG and RAW MARROW bone..........lol

I gave both pugs a raw marrow bone this morning..that was a couple of hours ago and they are still working on them.
the ones that I have here came from the butcher and big enough for a bulldog but the pugs are having a great time and great chew too
I love that they are cleaning their teeth too............
not heard a word out of either of them......just gnawing away

thought I would post this since some new people might not be comfortable with feeding raw bones and they are the way to go...RAW only.. you can dig out the marrow if you wish too. I do not

I do find that I have to SPLIT up the pugs due to the ITS MINE attitude..lol. only happens with a raw marrow bone

you can find them at your butcher cheap.....I buy a grocery bag full for 3.00 here... and they last forever and ever and the dogs are happy happy happy

YOU can usually get them much cheaper from a butcher...then a grocery store for sure
a huge grocery bag here is 3.00 and more then enough bones to do a pug for a long long time.lol
I give them to them frozen but you can thaw them if you prefer

the pugs are still nawing again today after yesterday......lol

    they are a true hit

Our Pugs are more enthusiastic for the raw marrow bones than any other thing they're supposed to have.

    MINE go bonkers for them..lol
and they are natural thing for dogs too..
I am fine with them and the vet says so too..
I get large ones here that last for awhile...

even when the bones are cleaned off and the marrow is gone.....they will still chew on them...for a long time

mine can't have those or rawhide, jerky things,as they always get bacterial infections so now that the vet has and i know this so far no infections and it's been about a year with darla and two years with buggy. They enjoy a good milk bone and their stuffies oh and mom brushing their teeth.

Mine are due for a new one today..
been letting them rather share a bone on an old blanket inside here
or on the bathroom or kitchen floor so I can clean it
    but they totally love it
and can see where the bone is actually whitening their teeth too

Daisy has allergies to beef. Do you think she could have a marrow bone? What if I take the marrow out and just give her the bone?
