Are rawhide bones or pig ears ok to give a small pug puppy... 10 weeks old?
Nora chews on everything and needs something new to chew on.
I wouldn't to be honest. Not at 10 weeks. Believe me, I remember the days of NEEDING to occupy a baby! :)
Try Nylabones or Yak Chews would be my suggestion for a tiny pup. Or a Kong with puppy friendly treats in.

And now mummy to puppy Charlie too! Who said pugs are addictive?! :)
Thank you. I've never heard of a yak chew??? I'll have to Google it! LOL!
Pig's ears are okay for small puppies..but not for adults as they can chew them too fast...and possibly choke.
I feed bully sticks...My adults get the 9-12" ones. I take them away from them at about 3-4" and save them for someone that has puppies.
Never raw hides........
Yak bones are good too

I also don't do rawhides. With my first pug I remember having to pull it out of his throat while he was gagging on it. It was not pleasant and I thought nope never giving those again.
I now give my pug Nylabones and he loves them! I'd give those a try!

Dentist told us bendable Nylabones .
With everything you give them I suggest supervised only .

Mine had Nylabone teething rings and bones and split antlers, but neither of them were or are voracious chewers.
Personally I never give rawhide, pigs ears or any other dried bits of animal anatomy. I’d also only buy Yak chews from a quality source to hopefully avoid the risk of a stomach upset.
Enjoy your puppy - it’s such a short time - when you look back! :)
