I saw this on a different site and started to feel really anxious because this is one of the main treats that Beanie eats!!! But then I saw that it's "not a safety issue," it's a "quality issue" - so I feel a little bit better. I did notice that the most recent bag I opened seems very "wet" and it didn't seem to have one of those "moisture absorber pads in it that they usually contain. I wonder if that's the problem?
Unfortunately, I don't have the receipts for my most recent bags. I don't know if I should try to request a refund through the Zuke's website, take them to the pet store, or just keep feeding them? If it's not a safety issue... I'm kind of tempted to just keep feeding. But could the excess moisture cause mold or toxins to form?? Ugh. She's about half-way through this bag.

Februrary 11, 2005 to May 10, 2020. Miss you, sweet boy!
I saw that our local pet supply store was pulling them this morning from the shelf, I assumed it was some sort of recall but good to know. I stopped feeding them awhile ago to Lolli and Murphy because they were convinced that they really hadn’t gotten a treat every time I gave them. They get the Natural Balance soft treats that come in a jar now, I think they are only 3 calories each.
