    Default National Dog Food shortage

A few News Outlets kept saying there is a National Dog Food supply shortage.I actually have not noticed much difference. Some of our prescription food is hard to get nevertheless. Henry has to eat his food ! He can get critical ill without it.
    Who else is stock piling?
Also I noticed Blue Buffalo is offering prescription diets now. I did order some hydrolyzed protein cans and kibbles am still waiting.

Not me, have you researched the affects of long term storage and maybe mold?

If you can use the food during the date stamp...you're okay! I usually try to stay a bag ahead of the game with the SO that I have to feed!

I haven't noticed any here. I always try to have a extra bag on hand.

Aflatoxin can be a concern with grain incisive kibble.

I wouldn't store that much.... I'd be worried about mold....and aphids / wheat grain and yeast insects :/

OK I checked all bags All will be consumed before expiration. We store it inside. With prescription food I noticed they are often sold out and what you get is pretty fresh from the manufacturer. For the bags I just ordered all with manufacturing dates less then a month old (Henry and Gordon).
Unfortunately I need 3 different type food :(
Our food containers are Vittles Fault

For Henry I will always have extra food we already run in the issue of not being able to find his food when he was 1st diagnosed.
