    Cool Human Food For Pugs...

I've read that there are a few foods that can harm pugs like:
    • grapes
    • chocolate
    • garlic
    • raisins
    • macadamia nuts
    • apricots
Are there any others? The only 'human' food I give Percy are peanut butter, cheese, plain yogurt and I gave him really small piece of a strawberry. I just want to know what are some good healthy human foods puggy can have.

    Default what about dairy??

Frank loves cheese, so I sneak him a little now and then, but my daughter scolds me and tells me that dairy products are not good for him.

I've also read posts here that some use cheese as a treat, so I use that as my excuse. so, cheese: yea or nay?

Cheese in small amounts is just fine.

onions and coffee grounds are also bad

I usually just give him a really small piece but one day my boyfriend cut off a large piece of cheese and figured that Percy would bite it off, yah right!!! Percy grabbed the whole thing and ran away...

String beans and carrots are good, and Penny loves tomatoes. Especially with basil. No kidding. Not only do I have a diva, but I also have a gourmet. Apples and melons are good, too. Penny won't eat peaches, but she will climb me like a tree for some cantaloupe or honeydew.

Yah, that's exactly how Percy thinks too...I'll give him a small piece of cheese and then look at me with this horrible look on his face like I just played a joke on him.

It's funny because I always say Percy LOVES cheese and peanut butter but really I don't think I've found anything that he didn't want to eat. Do you know if watermellon is okay?

Fruits, except for grapes, are fine in moderation. Just watch the seeds/pits. They are not safe with most fruits. Yogurt (plain, fat free) is also a good treat for them.

We've been giving Dave plain, low fat (not fat free)... does anyone know if this is OK or is fat free better?
