I can't post more pictures because I've reached my maximum. However, I can't see a way to delete the old ones. Now what?

    Thanks.

It seems that the allowed photo storage doesn't last very long with the large pictures that are standard with today's cell phones and digital cameras.
The best way to store the most photos possible is to make the photo size smaller using a photo editing software or app before you attach them. They can be deleted though and that provides more space for new pictures.

How to see how much Attachment space you're using and delete Attachments:
    1. GO to the green bar near the top of the page and find the drop-down menu for "Forum Actions"
    2. Select "General Settings"
    3. On the left side of the screen, scroll down and select "Attachments"
    4. A list will display with the thread name and the information about the attached images you put on that thread. Click the checkbox next to the one you want to delete. Click "Delete Selected" at the bottom of the screen.

This will delete the selected attached photo but not the thread/post it was on. Instead of a photo, people will now see something like this: "Attachment 29225" where the photo used to be and if they click on it then there is an error message about invalid link.

I agree, tapatalk is great if you use a tablet or phone. No need to find another site to host pictures. Simply access the PV board through the app. I just added it the other day & already find myself posting more because its so easy!

Does this work with a photo that I've posted on Facebook?

Do you mean the Tapatalk App that was discussed above? I'm not sure how that works with FB. Or, do you just want to know how to take a photo from FB and put it on PugVillage? If that is what you are asking, you should be able to copy the link address of the photo, then come here to PV and click on the "picture frame icon" and paste the address in. If you need more details, I think the other How To post pictures thread still has images for step-by-step. I've been meaning to update the "how to post pictures" thread and make everything more accurate for today's browsers, but I just haven't had time.

Edited to add link for other thread... it's a bit outdated, but might still be of some use: https://www.pugvillage.com/forum/how...ctures-pv.html

I only use Tapatalk from my iPad and sometimes on my phones . But you post pictures saved on your device. So in the case of using Facebook pictures you need to first save it on your device .
Then you tap the picture icon and it brings up your saved pictures you pick one photo and select the quality and that it s basically it .
