So sorry to read this terrible news. Your attitude is admirable, and as he has the wisdom to live life in the moment, day by day, he can teach you how to even enjoy these moments with him, hard as it is. Lisa (6 Beautiful Pugs) and other pug health experts here might chime in on ideas for palliative care to make him feel his best. For pills, if you slip them into sliced hot dogs or dip them in cream cheese or peanut butter if Louis can tolerate those, he might even enjoy them. My only other suggestion is that if you are able to, taking him in your bed to sleep with him is likely to make him (and you) very comfortable and content.
Wishing you and Louis lots of snuggles and happy, loving times together.

Oh, no.....I am so very sorry to hear this news--got tears in my eyes for you! That is the most dreadful disease & I never understand why our poor, innocent babies have to suffer from these things! I'm sure you are heartbroken.....enjoy your time with him as much as you can, & we are here to listen whenever you need to talk.....We care, & most of us have furbabies waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge, so we can empathize with what you are going through. Sending along many hugs & prayers for Louis, and for you!
