My turn.......I had MOHS surgery for skin cancer on my shin bone on the 9th! It's where they go layer by layer til they have clean margins. He got it on the first cut.....a nice crater in my leg!!! Looked red...so I had to go to Urgent Care since I couldn't get ahold of surgeon...and he probably would have sent me there anyway. They drew a circle...quite big where it's inflammed. Gave me doxy (like the dogs). It's not the drug of choice but I'm allergic to a lot of meds! If it goes beyond the cirlce that they made in permanent marker...I'm to head to ER for IV fluids! Please see this NOT happening and me staying home with my babies!!!!

Oh no! Diane, I am sending you tons of positive vibes and really, really hoping that it does not extend beyond the circle and starts receding soon. Could it be inflamed from something rubbing/irritating it and not an infection? Or did the Emergency Doc think it was infected?
Oh gosh. I really hope it starts to get better quickly! Thinking good thoughts for you!

So sorry to hear this Diane. Is it looking any better this morning?
So difficult to even see a doctor here at the moment that I resorted to using the dogs’ Leucillin spray on my big toe that had become badly inflamed - I have a long term issue with psoriasis in my toe nails just on my left foot. Leucillin may not be licensed for use on humans but it worked really well for clearing up the inflammation completely in just 36 hours!
