There are currently two positive C-19 cases in the apartment community Loon and I live in.
Her office is closed except by appointment only and then no one is allowed in without a mask. Any maintenance issues are being conducted on an emergency basis and proper procedures are to be followed. Per quarantine procedures no one is allowed in or out of the C-19 positive apartments.
On of the maintenance guys left early yesterday because he wasn't feeling well. He ended up in the emergency room. He has all the C-19 symptoms. He was tested but won't have the test results back for a few days.
If he tests positive this means Loon was exposed. I was exposed as well not only by Loon but I've been in the office helping out the past week.
While anyone coming into the office is required to wear a mask, when it's just employees no masks are being worn. That means the maintenance guys come in and out with no masks or any other protection.
Loon is really upset and worried.
She HAS to go in but is making me stay home and won't let me come back to the office.

Oh NO! I hope you guys don't catch it! Stay safe! It would be hard for either of you and Louie if one of you had to stay in the hospital a week or more.

I don't know what we would do with Louie if BOTH of us ended up in the hospital. We've only been here a few weeks so we don't really know anyone well enough to trust them with Louie.
It would be a 7.5 hour drive for my mom but hopefully she would come down and take care of him. I would still feel horrible and like I was putting her at risk if she did that.
Hopefully the guy will test negative. If he does test positive it doesn't mean Loon or I will actually get it. I have to keep reminding myself of that.

Scary indeed. Now all you can do is wait and see. I would so call my physician and ask if you should take some antibiotics as precaution?
