Great pictures Patrice, now I feel the need to go visit the beach in beautiful White Rock. Hubby and I lived there when we first met. I loved the little deposit Felt Pugsley left, too funny.
Looking forward to seeing some pictures of Felt in California with Christa.
I'm glad he arrived safely! Hope he's not too tired out from his flight.
I have really been enjoying Felt Pugley's travels so far! I can't wait to see more :)
Flat Pugley has had quite an adventure while he has been here. He drove to town with me and we stopped to take pics on the way home. I had him sitting on the window while snapping pics and put him back in his seat when we drove to another location. Got ready to take the next pic and FP was nowhere to be found:hide: I looked all over my car, flipped a U-turn and drove back where we had been and still could not find FP anywhere :( I was on the side of a busy highway and not a safe place to be looking around, so I finally ended up going home. I was freaking out wondering how I was going to tell everyone that I had lost FP, got home and started unloading my things from my car. I opened the passenger door and there he was in between the door and the seat. OMG I was so relieved LOL.
Anywho, here is what we did while he's been in California....
FP suggested we go to Outback Steakhouse, but it wasn't in the budget so I treated him to a California favorite In N Out Burger

Then he wanted to try working in the oilfields so I dropped him off for the day, he was given the nic name *the worm* and was told things like *hey hand, get busy*. He didn't seem to mind too much, but I think he preferred touring BC.

I promised FP that I would take him horseback riding, he got to ride Kariali. He got bucked off several times, but the brave little sole got right back on the horse every time!

The picture with Kaleb made me laugh! Poor guy is gonna be so embarrassed if he sees that Felt Pugley was standing on him while he slept. Good thing F.P. didn't try to lift a leg while on the bed. LOL
The oil rigs are quite the sight. We have a LOT of natural gas "flares" around here and a few oil rigs/wells too. The natural gas rigs are a bit like a small oil rig, but it's pumping natural gas and there is a flame/flare at the top that stays lit all the time.
Off to Texas next!!! :america: And then Virginia after that, California, Florida and Illinois. So, Felt Pugley has five stops left in the U.S.A before he travels "across the pond" to visit with the royal baby and the Queen. :unitedki:
I am glad FP didn't get stranded somewhere on the highway, when I visited Ca, I had to go to In-n-out! I bet FP loved it. What an adventure. I will have to figure out how to entertain him when he arrives in Virginia in a couple of weeks
