Lots of prayers for little Almond. I have been reading your story everyday. You are doing a wonderful thing! I wish you were closer I would love to adopt one of the babies when they are old enough.
Lots of hugs and prayers coming your way! Please keep us updated
Oh gosh, that was not an update I wanted to read. I hope the little guy is OK.
Everything still crossed here for little Almond. :grouphug:
Almond is still here, :yippe: I have spoken to the vet and she said if he is still gaining weight and huddling with the rest of the group then he is likely to be ok. She is giving us some antibiotics for him that we are only to use if he does not improve within the next 24 hours, i'm not sure what they are yet but he is to have 1 drop twice a day.
Thank God he is still here with us, I really don't want to give him antibiotics but if they can help him they are worth a try.
All the rest of the puppies are doing well and Flo is much happier with feeding them now. Gary is very confused, he can't understand why he has gone from sleeping in our room to being crated overnight :headshak: he is barking lots too as he knows Flo is here and wants to play with her.
Thanks for the kind messages
Heather
Woohooo a good update!!:woohoo:
Way to go little Almond, hang in there!!
Did Laura visit yesterday? Did she agree they can stay with you a while longer, like till they're weaned:mrgreen:
Glad to read the good update!:yippe: Hang in there little Almond.
Ha ha! If I can talk DH into it we'll buy the whole litter!! :happy dance:
Not exactly sure what i'd do with them next though!!! Laura is happy for me to keep them for as long as necessary. Just think she wants to get them sold as quickly as possible, poor babies.
She's getting me really mad now :irked: but I am trying my hardest to stay composed, it is best for Flo and pups and who knows....when they need rehoming maybe I can choose who is good enough for them :cheesy:
I think your handling this beautifully!!
Next we need to convince her to let you RESCUE them and pay nothing.
I think you've already put enough money out, without buying the litter!!
We need to educate her that puppy farming is not an honorable hobby but I understand that you're doing a balancing act at the moment and doing it admirably.
What a relief to hear that little Almond is fighting on. :yippe:
Keep up the good work!
