I asked my vet about this Rocco does it too...she said try the ball if it is upsetting to you. But she said it's not bad for him. It's just he's a little pig! :)

Dogit Dog Anti Gulping Bowl Pink Small

This is what we use - it slows down the eating no end. Google 'anti-bloat' dog bowls there are loads out there.

We have this issue with Angel; definitely throws up her food from eating too fast. We first tried two golf balls, but then had to go with three golf balls in the bowl with the food. Slows her down a bit and we can wash everything easily and still use the stainless steel bowl.

Why is it that a lot of Pugs are just Hoovers??? My Henry Lee would eat so fast, he would get himself sick... never did he ever chew a kibble. We ended up using a Fast Break bowl as well as soaking his kibble in water for about 30 mins. before we fed him. Now, he's 4th or last to finish eating...

Here's a link to the fast break bowl, there's a video to show you how it works.

    Welcome to brake-fast.net!
