thank you, and we will be thinking of your sid (and you) through this event... keep us posted... the power of PV is strong and needs to be turned to "off" (or aimed in another direction) after it's not needed!

Sid and I went to meet the surgeon this morning... He was very nice... gave us a detailed explanation on how he performs the surgery. I asked about a little lump under Sid's arm that I had found, he agreed to remove that as well.

After lots and lots and lots of kisses I left him there at 9:20am and went to orientation for my new job (wearing black and covered in lucky pug hair, of course! )

I got the phone call at 1:00pm that he was all finished and that I could pick him up after 4:00pm. He did great. The lump under his arm was a fatty lipoma.. nothing to worry about... they still sent it out to check it. The glands are gone... His bum looks so sad. All shaved and stitched up. He was still really tired when we picked him up, but didn't hesitate jumping into the car, which made my husband and I both cringe in fear.... He's been sleeping all evening, sometimes even when standing. He cried a little bit, nothing bad. I'm just so happy that he doesn't have to be uncomfortable and that we don't have to deal with "fish juice" anymore! He's on pain meds and antibiotics, so I know he will be loopy for awhile... All in all, it went really well. I just can't wait for the next ten days to get over with so that the stitches can be removed.

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. You made our day! I will be back with more updates!!

Sid is doing very well. He drops a poo once in awhile if he gets really excited, but nothing major. He keeps trying to rough house... We have to make him stop LOL Silly Pug

That's great! It'll be interesting to hear how long the incontinence continues for!
