Default Switching from puppy food to adult food at 8 months 19 days?

    Hello,

Well I'm in a dilemma, first of all I'm from Mexico and I don't have access to premium foods like Wellness/Orijen/Innova/Blue HOWEVER I do go to USA every year.

Problem is, I only have 10 more days to feed my pug Wellness Super5Mix just for puppy, and I allready have 60 pounds of Blue Buffalo adult dog food for small breeds waiting for him.

So, do you guys recommend me to decrease his kibble feeding of the wellness and add in some bananas/watermelons/apple to his diet until he gets uhmmm...9-10 months old or should I go to a costco and pick their best brand for puppy and feed him until he's around 1 year old? I say this so I can go asap and begin doing the transition so his stomach doesn't upset.

By the way as in today hes 8 months 9 days, his name is Snores, and I will post some photos of him soon.

Wow thanks alot, I was getting worried for my puggy :)

If it's completely safe, then I will start the transition tomorrow until the Wellness food is gone...1/4...2/2...3/4...full Blue.

    Thanks!

Your plan sounds fine. I switched both of mind at about 6 months.

If you're in a pinch, Costco's organic chicken kibble is a decent kibble. Compare the ingredients.

Well I decided to star mixing the kibbles, and he's doing good so far(1/4 of new food).

That's when he was around 4 months old :)

Sorry if pics are too big :(
