I just want to mention that our Eddie was having the same issues as your girl. Frequent mucousy poops. I brought sample after sample to the vet with negative results. Our vet finally suggested that we put Eddie on a pre and probiotic. He gave me a month supply of some (can't remember the name), something like florentine. It cleared him right up. We now have him on a powder that we add to his food that has pre/probiotics in it and a digestive enzyme and he hasn't had a problem since. Its been about 6 months now. I also have to be careful with the raw marrow bones, they sometimes upset his tummy. I take alot of the marrow out and the fatty stuff around the bone and give it to him. He doesn't know any different and will chew on an empty bone for hours. Hope this helps you out. Mushy, slimy poops are no fun to pick up when out on a walk. We feed natural balance sweet potatoe and fish here and don't dare change it, why try to fix something that is not broken.
