I'm moving soon from Cancun to either Southern California, Dallas, Georgia, or Colorado--with California, Dallas, and Georgia being the most likely. The most likely maximum flight length will be about four hours if it's non-stop.
We're trying to get ready before hand so we know what to do. We know he can't be checked because of his nose, but we don't know if we can take him in a carry on soft-sided carrier. So far, with the requirements we've read about, it sounds like any kennel we get would be waaay to big to fit under the seat in front of us.

Here are his measurements:

neck to base of tail: 15"
from floor to top of shoulder: about 14"

Is there any way we can take him safely? The maximum kennel height we've read about so far is 11" =(
