I had a few issues with gina in the last couple of days and it's worried me sick.
Last night around (10pm) gina had a funny spell, by funny spell I mean she looks like she is dizzy.
Can't walk straight and walks sideways with head down and swaying. This lasted around 10 seconds. But as she was laying down she started to kick her front right leg out after 10 minutes of having the funny dizzy spell. She fell asleep but she she got up around (11pm) she was limping on her front right leg and lifting it up. When I took her down to pee, walking up the stairs her front LEFT leg started kicking out, like she was trying to swim just on that side, she couldn't make it up the stairs it was kicking out that much, It was so weird!!! So this morning I give her breakfast and take her for her walk and she seems absolutely fine! Obviously I am taking her to the vet this after noon but does anyone know what this could be? As I'm worried the vet will just say "keep an eye on it"2
The dizzy spell has happened once before and that lasted around 10 seconds and that was 5 weeks ago. She just walked to her bed after and went to sleep for an hour. And seemed perfectly normal when she woke up?!
I know this is not right and there is something wrong. :-( does anyone have any advice? Xxx
Definitely not normal and sounds neurological. Don't take no for an answer with the vet, ask for a neuro consult ASAP. How old is Gina?

She is 6 months old. It's so weird because after she seems her normal playful self! I don't get it! X
I agree strongly with what Jackie said! Get this done ASAP for the good of your baby, Gina.

Yes, a neuro consult asap. This is not normal or something to just watch. It could be petit mal seizures a liver shunt or signs of pressure in the brain....could be a host of things you don't want to mess around with. Unfortunately neuro testing often goes beyond standard bloodwork and x-rays. MRI's or CAT scans are expensive. Hope it doesn't come to that.
In a gentle way, you can shake the world.

Totally agree! This sounds like a neuro issue. Get in to a neuro vet ASAP.
I totally agree with a vet visit.......blood work needs to be done...a video of the episode would be good if it happens again....they might want to do a fasting liver bile test. She's at an age where things that are wrong might turn up!
Seeing all going well...and will be waiting for a good update from you!
