    Default Yeast Infections?

    Hi pug lovers,

Does anyone have any natural ways to cure and prevent yeast infections? My Pug/Boston mix, Dingo, is smelling pretty yeasty and I am 99% sure she has a yeast infection. Any good diet recommendations or natural remedies?

I've heard switching to raw or a diet low in carbs and higher in protein helps with yeast. After bathing, do a final rinse with a vinegar/water solution....don't rinse it off. Hope others will chime in.

I second what Christa said above - switch foods to low carb/no grain and do vinegar/water rinses to help the skin. A lot of pugvillagers have used Nzymes for yeast issues on their pugs. Please keep in mind though that if it really is a yeast infection, she may need medical treatment from a vet and not just home remedies. I hope you find a solution that helps your girl feel better soon.
