Red Ears

Hi I have an 8 month old pug, he has got red ears and seems a little unwell (quiet, sleeping and runny poo) I've checked and there is no discharge or smell. Has anyone got any advice, thinking of taking him to the vets tomorrow but was wondering if it's needed? We are regulars at the vets lol and I think they think that I am a drama queen :blackpug:

Red ears usually is ear infections ........

Does it look a little bruised or just red?? How are his gums?? If they are lighter.......or if you see bruising...he needs to go to the ER.......

At that age can dehydrate also from runs...so keep an eye on that.

Is he scratching at the ears or his face????

Can you take his temp??? should be between 100-102..... A little over is okay but not much! If over or low...ER.....

Seeing him being okay! Pls keep us posted!

I'd get them checked. Since he seems unwell, they are probably bothering him. Tinker shakes her head when her ears flare up.

Thanks for the advice, he's been to the vets and has an ear infection in both ears, plenty of cuddles for him x
