    Default question about pugs post-spaying

hi everyone- ava was spayed yesterday and came home totally fine- no crying or anything. today though, she's been crying off and on...is this normal? what can i do to make her more comfortable? my poor baby!

It has been a really long time since I've had a Pug spayed, so others will probably be more helpful. My recollection of CoCo being spayed was that she was fine the day of the spaying, not so great the day after.

I'm not a vet, so you have to take this for whatever it's worth..If the incision looks ok, and Ava is otherwise eating fine, drinking fine and peeing fine, it's probably nothing to be too concerned about.

To ease your concerns though, it wouldn't hurt to give the vet a call if this persists....Peace of mind is a good thing!

Charlie was spayed a few months ago. She was fine the day of the spay because she was so drugged up

The next day was harder, the drugs had worn off...she was in more pain. I gave it a couple of days and she was like new.

Hope this helps! Its such a hard time when our babies are sad
