    Default ph strips for Penny

So I thought I posted this last night. I have been having a hard time finding the ph strips for Penny. I have been doing some research on the amount of normal Ph levels for dogs. Regular seems to be 5.5 to 7.0. What brand do you use. Most of the pharmacies say they don't carry them. Any advice would help.

You need to get them to the vet to be checked!

It doesn't matter which brand you use if all you are concerned about is Ph. It's litmus paper. You can find it at your local pharmacy or drug store...even some well stocked pet stores. Fish ppl generally need to check the Ph levels of the water in the tanks. Tbh...all litmus paper is the same. Marketing sucks...imho.

It's been hard to find here in Toronto. I've asked several pharmacies and haven't had any luck. I order some online today so back to trying to catch the urine.

    I get mine here

URINE STRIPS 10 SG TEST STRIPS 100/BOX

$15/100, pretty reasonable. They will do quite a bit more than ph, blood will tell you of infection, protein etc

Usually easy to catch urine from girls. Wait till they start to pee, slip a flat lid under them, easy as that.

good ph is usually considered to be 6.5-7
