    This could definitely be a back problem, biting at the tail and biting at the back would look similar.

    Just to be safe - Until you get to the vet, try to keep him confined so he is not running or jumping. Giving him a baby aspirin would probably be a good idea too. Don't give Tylenol or Ibuprofen or such, just aspirin.

    Thanks for the positivity everyone! Vet wasn't able to find any inury to his tail. Said that he more than likely is gassy. His farts have been REALLY bad. They checked his poop for parasites too, and that came back with no issues. So they pretty much sent me back home and told me to bring him back if he doesn't seem to be eating, drinking or having any issues going to the bathroom.

    Oddly enough, I gave him a bath last night and today his tail is back to it's cinnamon bun form and he shows now more signs of discomfort! So again, thanks everyone! I'm sure you all know how precious our little pugs can be. :)

    Glad it was not broken! Maybe he sprained it jumping and landing wrong?
