    Default Getting the puppy home

So its about a week until I take my pug home. He will be A few days over 8 weeks by then.

He would have had his first vaccination but from what I understand I would need to get the second set sorted soon after.

On the day I go to collect him, there has been a change of plan. The person who was mean't to be giving me a lift is no longer able to, so will he be fine if I take him home in a puppy carrier strap bag?

I would have to do quite a bit of walking to get home. Although if I am correct, it's Parvo that would be the main problem, but only potentially if he was put on the ground where other dogs could have been?

Pre post edit: The picture shows him outside in that pen with his sisters at over 7 weeks old. The breeder is experienced and works as a vet, so i'm sure he only did that as he thinks its safe.

    Thanks

If you cannot find another way home.....he should be fine if carried! Don't let anyone else touch him unless they wash their hands on the way home!!!!! The second shot is 3-4 wks after the first shot!!!!

    CUTE!

How adorable. Diane gave you good advice.

He will be fine in a carrier, which you will also need to use when taking him to the vet for his vaccinations, as you don't want him touching a vet's floor unvaccinated. He is unbearably cute!
