Well this am we have been diarrhea free. I gave regular food this am and pm and so far so good. I stop and wonder could it have been stress from me being gone? The diarrhea didn't start till close to the end of my trip
That's a possibility!
Would they have been given extra treats, or people food while you were gone? That seems to be a trigger for Lucy to have diarrhea...

no only thing I left out was the daily vitamins I give for joint support. My dog sitter won't even give them bones even if I ask he gets too nervous
I'm so glad they are doing better! Yes, I do think it could possibly have been due to stress.

it could be. my vet told me that colitis can be stress induced. Louie ended up with a bout last December when my mom got her new senior rescue pug Frannie
