Just my 2 pugs Gordon and Bruno.
Bruno is the culprit he was itchy when we got him , he is now 7 month. I took him with samples from his brush to the vet a few times. They said it is puppy dry skin and Pugs are prone to skin problems. Bruno has has no issues. Yesterday the vet kept saying he is so soft. So what? He is itching!
Yeah we had no luck and now I take matters in my own hands.

Just a quick update and time line

Wednesday bathed dogs in Neem and sprayed Neem, washed dog beds in borax , started using Neem shampoo and teatree bodywash on humans.
Saturday fogged house , applied Revolution , washed beds in borax, washed dog beds in borax, applied colloidal silver/ coconut on hubby and I,
Sunday used carpet machine to clean carpets and upholstery
So far it‘s going OK me and Bruno still itch so ...

We have fogged twice set out 1 week and fog today. It´s a 21 Day life cycle.
I keep washing all cloth in borax daily and bedding , blankets etc 2twice a week in hot water with borax as well.
    Vacuum daily.
At 15 day Mark dogs got the the 2nd Dose Revolution.
I spray midweek Neemspray on Bruno and use colloidal silver for itch relief. He is less itchy.
I use teatree oil bath twice a week, daily shower with teatree soap and neemshampoo and colloidal silver. I had no new bites until last week. I got a few new bites on my skin which was not exposed with water taking the bath.
It sounds crazy but what ever mites we have they do prefer me. But what we have done has worked and we are diligently working so we should be back to normal soon. After today there should be no new bites! If we get more we start all over. I will look at other solutions to replace the foggers.

I could not find much on those mites on the internet. It seems that the old time flea remedies took care off the mites as well. With all the newer flea prevention products there was no more need for the more harsch flea treatments. The Cheyletiella mites thought to be history. But since the new Methods not killing mites we see them again. Little research is done with this specific type of mite and so we know little about what this parasites become resistent too.
I decided to do a multi approach and use a combination of remedies.
I keep posting my timeline here just in case someone has the same problem.

I found this fairly recent veterinary article on parasites that has a section on cheyletiella mites. I could be wrong as I quickly scan read it, but it seems to suggest that imidacloprid and moxidectin (Advantage flea product maybe?) would work better on dogs and selemectin works better on cats. It doesn’t seem to regard the home environment very much other than to say bedding and grooming tools should be disinfected
