Hi,
Our little guy is 7 months old and I saw his left upper canines tooth(sharp tooth) looking like it's loose, sitting slightly horizontal. Is it normal to be this age and still loosing baby teeth? I looked at his other side and it looks like it's still small and growing.
Well I can tell you a little about puppies and teeth. I have been with my 2 guys multiple times at the animal dental clinic in the last 3 month.
Yes 7 month old can still teeth . But most pups teething is done earlier.
Pugs have crowded mouths and I suggest when you go to get spay or neuter done, to also have x-rays of all teeth done at the same time ( I did not do it but wish I had) .
Impacted teeth can cause a lot of trouble.
Anyway are you sure it is a baby tooth? Some pugs have small teeth.
If so do you see an adult tooth coming through?
In my puppies case he had still baby upper canines at 10 month when I went to the dentist. They found impacted teeth, one caused an Cyst on one bottom canine and he was born without 13 adult teeth and his upper canines are missing as well( rare for pugs) . Both of my guys had also loose teeth and I was told bully sticks are the cause and not appropriate chews. Only give them soft bendable items( I get baby teething toys now).
My guy may keep his baby teeth for a long time or looses them but nobody can tell. If they come out he will just be a toothless pug.
I would suggest still to bring it up with the vet and see his recommendations.
A retained tooth happens more often in all kinds of breeds.

I was able to get in with another vet, ours was all booked, and he said it's his adult tooth coming in. He showed us his baby teeth and adult teeth so I'm relief it's not something abnormal. I've been reading about your pug boy too and hope he is all well!
Great news. What a relieve. I hope you stick around ...
