    I have mostly good news!

Path came back as his PLR (chronic rhinitis). All the destruction in his sinuses are from the chronic inflammation, and the left side did show to have more inflammation than the right. It's very odd for it to cause total blockage like it did, it's behaving oddly. But the goal now is to get it into remission again. Since he's done better on prednisone than NSAIDs in the past as far as his BUN level, he's back on pred with a follow up in 2 weeks. Hoping to start the taper at that time if things are going well.

Unfortunately, the report also stated "vascular changes that are generally seen with chronic hypertension". Um, what? She checked his record and his bp was slightly elevated while in the hospital after his procedure. His urine test did not show protein in the urine. So at the 2 week check she wants to check his bp immediately before anything else (so he's not upset after the blood draw and things). Sounds like a referral to cardiologist if things are elevated. I have a message out to her for clarification on vascular changes, I'm not 100% clear on what that means and I didn't think to clarify at the time. If anyone has any experience with that let me know!

But it's got to be better/easier to treat than sinus cancer so I'm feeling very relieved about that.

Very good news on the Path. report. I will be praying that anything vascular can be easily treated.

Overall it sounds like good news. I'm glad the pathology showed it wasn't cancer or something scary like that.
It could be that the bp is just temporarily elevated due to all that's been going on.
When we have Wonka's bp tested, we go in a quiet and dark room and they test it 3-4 times then discard the highest and lowest.
Sending positive vibes for Stalin. I hope you can get more answers from your vet about the mention of vascular issues.
