DefaultOn the way to the vet ...... Paraphimosis

    I put a jinx on us !
Luna has this cute little dog tags and I decided to splurge and get one for each for my boys. I got one more extra and decided that this one needs to be a small one .
Bruno is a little wild boy and I was working a lot and very busy otherwise . Bruno finds entertainment elsewhere. Gordon has to be rescued quiet often . Luckily I got the camera alerting me when they get busy . I shot out a few treats with Furbo camera and all is good again .
Yesterday I went to my neighbor to catch up and when I got back Bruno showed of his manhood . No problem he will calm down . Not so much he still could not retract his Wiener at bed time . So what is a good Mommy to do ? Googled and tried a few maneuvers.
Nothing . He had to go to bed like that . We have no 24 hour vets around .
This morning I get ready really early to go to the 7am walk in clinic . On the way there the problem resolved itself. Must have been the cold air ? Excited riding in the car who knows ?
I turned around . Got back and Gordon took a check for me just to be sure .

Needless to say we wait for the groomers to open and Bruno will get a gentleman cut ! He is by any means
    NO GENTLEMEN!

whew! glad it went back in! I was just mentioning this on the thread about humping, that humping is usually harmless unless their lipstick comes out and won't go back in, then it could need medical attention!

Oh my, so glad that everything is fine and it went back in. Poor boy was probably uncomfortable for a while though. I hope this was a one-time occurrence and he doesn't have any repeats.

    Love the tags!!!

the sheath is studded with bristly hair and when the lipstick is extended and then retracted the hairs can be doubled over along with skin to keep the organ from sliding back out of sight---honestly, an ice cube or pack of frozen peas dextrously applied can be very useful

Bruno is now sporting a trim .
I got frozen med packs for my knees but they were heavy and big . I need to get something small to have on hand . It did happen once before but only for 1 hour or so .

If that happens again.....You really shouldn't wait as it can be engorged and then you're really in trouble!

    Can try cold water!

When i go to the vet for a breeding....the vets don't let them completely finish....so the boy is hanging there......We walk them and it goes back in.
